How to create a course link to host on an LMS/Internal Intranet

Before creating a course link, please follow the guidance laid out in the articles below.

  1. Creating a course link to host on an LMS or internal intranet can be achieved by following the steps in the article: How do I create a Fusion course?
  2. Once the course has been created, it then needs to be published by following the steps in the article: How to publish a Fusion course

After completing the above steps, you can then proceed to create the link/URL.

  • The base course link that you will need to add the course ID to is: https://cloud.metacompliance.com/View/Course/ 
  • You must add the Course ID to the end of this link. To locate the Course ID, navigate to Learning → Learning in Progress → View Course.

When the course loads, the URL will display the course number.

  • Add this number to the end of the link. For example, if the Course ID is 56612, the final link becomes:

    https://cloud.metacompliance.com/View/Course/56612

  • When a user clicks the link, they will either be taken directly to the course or to the login page, depending on how the course has been configured.

⚠️ Please Note:

  • If you want users to receive an email from MetaCompliance regarding the training, select Send Later in the Email tab. 
  • If you choose to target only specific users with the training, the link will only work for those targeted users. 
  • The course can be made public, allowing all users to access it without logging in.
