What happens when I complete a DSAR?
When the Request Status is set to 'Completed ', there are two possible ways the handover document(s) can be delivered to the requester.
1. Requests submitted via the DSAR web form
If the request was submitted through the DSAR web form and the 'Request Status' is set to 'Completed', the requester will automatically receive an email containing a link to view the DSAR status, along with access to the handover attachments.
- By clicking the 'View Request' button, the requester will be directed to a secure webpage where they can download the Handover Information.
- To find out how to add DSAR attachments (Handover Information), please refer to the following article: How do I add DSAR attachments (Handover Information)
2. Requests added directly via the register
If a DSAR was added directly via the register (not via the web form), administrators must send the Handover Information to the requester outside of the platform. Typically, the documents are sent using the same method the DSAR was originally submitted, such as email, post, social media or secure transfer.
