What are the MetaIncident Registers?

A register is a storage area made up of records and is really seen as the core of MetaIncident. Each record includes information ('fields') about a particular Incident record.

One way to describe a register is that it is like a 'toolbox'. It contains a lot of prepopulated fields related to the Incident management process that you can either choose/not choose to include in your Incident assessment.

The existing register fields can be customised, or new fields can be added if required: please refer to the following article for more information:

MetaIncident has two separate registers: Incident and Attachments.

  • Incident - available within the 'Reported Incidents' tile.

  • Attachments - available when attaching information to an Incident assessment.
