How to tell if a simulated phish has been successfully delivered to users

Once you have published a phish, you can monitor its activity using the Phish Overview Report.

Within this report, you can track actions, such as Open, Click, Data Entry, and Attachment activity. Additionally, you can drill down further to determine whether the emails were successfully delivered to your targeted users.

These insights can help you understand if your 'open' or 'click' rate may be low or zero, and whether the phish has been successfully delivered to the users' inboxes.

To access the report:

  • Navigate to Reporting → Phish → Overview
  • Locate the required phish and select View Audits.

Understanding Delivery Status

The Delivery Status column may contain one of the following entries:

  1. Delivered: Successfully delivered to the end user.
  2. Bounced: The system attempted to send the email, but it could not successfully reach the user's mailbox.
  3. Dropped: The system attempted to send the email, but it was unable to locate the user's mailbox.
