Register Management - Why can I not delete some fields?
There are two reasons why fields cannot be deleted from Register Management.
1. System Fields
Each register contains a small number of System fields - such as Name, Status and Description - which are required for each register to function properly.
- These fields cannot be deleted, moved or hidden. However, the 'Name' field can be edited.
2. Fields Used In a Master Record Privacy Assessment
Some fields cannot be deleted if they are already in use within a Privacy Assessment, whether from a system template or those created from scratch by customers.
If you see the message below appear, it means that the field you are trying to delete is currently being used in a Master Record Privacy Assessment.
