• To begin, create a new Rule by clicking Settings > Privacy > Privacy Rulebase > New Rule.

• You will be taken to the Rule Generation page. Enter a name for the Rule; then, within Group 1, you can set up your first Rule.
• Within the Register drop-down option, select the relevant register (for example, Processing Activity), if required. Then, within the Register Field drop-down (for example, Profiling of Individuals), select the relevant field that you want to set the Rule against. 

Next, select the Response from the following options:

• Contains: Use this option if the selected response for the Rule is included within the response provided for the field, i.e., if the response appears alongside other responses. 
• Equals: Use this option if the selected response for the Rule exactly matches the response provided, with no other drop‑down selections included.

Finally, select the Field Response, which is one of the available drop-down options in the selected register field.
