Fusion - Pre-test

If you add a quiz to your Fusion Course, a pre-test is an optional feature that lets users show their existing knowledge and skip the full course if they pass.

  • Set the number of pre-test questions, pass mark, and allowed attempts.
  • If users pass, they automatically complete the course.
  • If not, they must finish the full course.

This is ideal for users with limited time who can prove their understanding via the quiz.

The feature works with courses having nano videos linked to quizzes. Questions from these videos form the pre-test bank.

  • After creating your Fusion course, you’ll be prompted to add a pre-test.

  • Choose Yes, Add Pre-test to add and customise it via View/Edit Pre-Test.

  • All enabled questions in your course appear in the pre-test question bank.

Customising Your Pre-test:

  1. Select the default language.
  2. Edit the Introduction Text if needed.
  3. Set the pass mark.
  4. Specify the number of allowed attempts.
  5. Choose how many questions to display.
  6. Check Shuffle Questions to randomise them.
  7. Select which questions to include (all selected by default).
  8. Add new questions with +Add Question if needed.
  9. Provide translations for new questions via Add/Edit Translation(s).
  10. Click Save Pre-test.

Publish the course. When users start, the pre-test will appear.
