Can I copy a Fusion template?

Yes, Fusion templates can be copied, and this option allows you to make any required changes or updates to the course before resending it to your users or sending it to a new audience.

  • Navigate to Admin View > Learning > Fusion Template Creation > Create
  • Locate the Fusion course you would like to copy, and click View

When the template opens in the Flowbuilder view, you can use the 'Copy' option (top-right corner) to take a copy of the selected template.

  • Note: Templates currently in 'draft' form cannot be copied; however, as these are still editable, you can continue to make any required changes before publishing as a course.
  • If you have previously used this template in a course already published to end users, the system will alert you to advise that a version of this course is currently live to end users.

At this point, you now have the option to either archive the course, i.e. take it permanently out of circulation for all end users, or to create a new copy and allow the existing version to remain active to end users.

  • Once you have selected Create Copy, a new course will now appear in an editable format. You can update the course as required at this point.
  • If you are adding new languages to the existing template, ensure that the content is currently available in your required languages. If not, the system will highlight the affected content.

Next, you should either upload the content in the required languages or remove that element from your course.
