How to Stop a Campaign:
To stop a campaign, begin by navigating to the Campaigns tile on your dashboard. Once there, select the option labelled Campaigns in Progress to view all campaigns that are currently active.
Next, locate the specific campaign you wish to stop and click on the Actions tab associated with that campaign. This will provide you with various options related to managing the campaign.
From the available options, click View Campaign. This will open the detailed view of the campaign. In the upper right-hand corner of this screen, you will find a button labelled End Campaign. Click this button to proceed with stopping the campaign.
Once you have ended the campaign, all content associated with it will be automatically archived. It is important to note that although the campaign is stopped, you will still retain a complete audit trail of all content within the ended campaign for future reference and compliance purposes.
Stopping Individual Campaign Steps
It is possible to remove individual steps from a campaign even after they have gone live. This functionality allows for greater flexibility in managing your campaigns.
The Stop Step feature is designed to prevent the content from being sent to any new users. Additionally, it removes the content from circulation for users who have already received it.
This feature proves particularly useful when certain content is no longer relevant or applicable to your staff. Instead of ending the entire campaign, you can simply stop the specific step that contains outdated or irrelevant content.
⚠️ Important Information
Please be aware of the following important points regarding stopped campaign steps:
- Even after a campaign step is stopped, it will still appear in reporting dashboards for administrators to review as needed. This ensures transparency and traceability.
- Once a step has been stopped, it cannot be reactivated or added back into the campaign. This action is irreversible.
- If you need to continue using similar content, you can use the Create New option to generate a new version of that content.
- Should you wish to remove the individual content entirely, you can delete it via the corresponding ‘In progress’ table within the system.
