Slack Notifications Overview

Slack notifications can be used to alert users about upcoming Courses, Policies, and Surveys that require their attention or completion. These notifications are sent directly via Slack, alongside standard email alerts.

Notification Availability

Slack notifications are available for the following content types:

• Courses
• Policies
• Surveys

Steps to Enable Slack Notifications

To enable Slack notifications, follow the steps below for each content type:

Courses

1. Navigate to: Learning > Course Publish > Settings
2. Check Enable Slack Notification.

Policies

1. Navigate to: Policy > Policy Creation > Options
2. Check Enable Slack Notification.

Surveys

1. Navigate to: Survey > Survey Creation > Survey
2. Check Enable Slack Notification.

Notification Delivery

Once Slack notifications are enabled and the content is published:

• A Slack message will be sent directly to the user.
• An email notification will also be delivered as usual.
