How to disable MetaEngage Desktop Enforcement?

***Pre-Release Article***

To offer a more flexible content experience, users can disable MetaEngage’s desktop enforcement - commonly referred to as the “glass ceiling". This update allows your users to move the MetaEngage window to another screen and interact with other apps while the client is on screen.

  • Navigate to Company Edit > MetaEngage Settings to access a new toggle labelled 'MetaEngage Desktop Enforcement'
  • This setting controls whether screen enforcement is enabled by default for new policies, surveys, and courses. For added flexibility, you will still be able to enable enforcement on a per-content basis if required.

When enabled, the client window remains locked in front of all other applications with a screen-lock overlay. Users will not be able to interact with any other applications while the client is on screen.
When disabled, users can freely move the client window and interact with other applications without the screen-lock overlay.

This added flexibility makes MetaEngage feel less intrusive for organisations that prefer a more relaxed approach to content delivery, helping it better align with your company’s unique working style and culture.
