Key Features of MyCompliance Teams App 4.0
- Continuation of Existing Features: Enjoy all the functionalities available in MyCompliance Teams App 3.0, ensuring consistency and familiarity.
- Notifications: Stay informed with timely alerts similar to Teams chat notifications or channel notifications. These will appear briefly in the lower-right corner of your screen and will also be added to the Activity feed within Teams.
- Viewer Discretion: Videos within the app can now be viewed in all languages, promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
- If admins have opted to hide the Mandatory/Optional column on their home page within the platform, this preference will also be reflected in the app.
Upgrade Instructions
Depending on your current version and your previous installation path, follow the appropriate steps below to upgrade to MyCompliance Teams App 4.0.
- Previous installation via Microsoft Store: Navigate to the Microsoft Store and upgrade the existing MyCompliance Teams App to the new version. For more details, refer to Microsoft’s update process guide:
- Previous installation via a Manifest File: Uninstall the current version of the app, then search for MyCompliance Teams App in the Microsoft Store and install the latest version.
⚠️ Please note:
- Admin approval: This update introduces changes to app permissions. Depending on your settings, admin approval may be required. Admins can review and accept permissions in the Teams Admin Centre under Permissions.
- Consent Approval: After admin approval, end users will receive a consent request. Consent is required once per new app version. Admins cannot force an update if consent is not provided—please communicate this to users for a smooth transition.
- Acceptance of Changes: To receive notifications, targeted users must accept the new changes within the MyCompliance Teams App. Failure to do so may result in missed notifications.
- Refresh the App: To start receiving notifications, users should simply open the app to refresh it.
