A Bulk Select Users button is available within the Target tab of the Policy, Survey, Learning, Phish, and Campaign modules. This feature allows you to automatically select users for targeting, rather than manually ticking each user.

• Clicking this button will open an area where you can either upload a spreadsheet or drag and drop a file containing a list of email addresses for users who require bulk targeting.

Before Uploading Your Spreadsheet

• Enter EmailAddress (with no spaces) as the header into Cell A1.
• Enter the users' email addresses into Column A (one email address per cell).

⚠️ Important

• Users included in the spreadsheet must be added to the platform.
• Bulk select targets are only available for content in a Create State.
• Do not navigate away from the web page while the upload is in progress.
• Once the content has been published, bulk selection of targets will no longer be available.
• If you require new joiners to be targeted with content after using bulk select, ensure you select the top-level group(s) after upload.

Steps to Bulk Select

• Click the Select Targets button.
• Click Confirm to bulk select your users.
• 💡Tip: Ensure your spreadsheet file is closed before uploading; otherwise, an error message will appear.

After Upload

• A loading screen may appear for a period of time, depending on the number of email addresses. 
• Once completed, a green Success notice will confirm that users have been successfully bulk selected. 
• For each user in the spreadsheet, a green tick will appear beside their name in the targeting area.

Error Handling

• If any errors exist on your spreadsheet, a red Alert banner will display with a link to review the errors. 

• Clicking Review These Errors will open a window showing:

  • An overview of the errors
  • The type of error
  • The line number where the error occurred

  Possible Errors:

  • Users that do not exist on the platform
  • Invalid email addresses
  • Duplicate email addresses

• Once errors have been fixed, upload your spreadsheet again to bulk select your users.

⚠️ Please note: Bulk selection of targets is only available for content that is in a Create State.
