How to send the Uncompliant Email in a user's preferred language
If you have opted to send notification emails to targeted users in their preferred language, you can now also send the Uncompliant Email to these users in the same way.
The purpose of the Uncompliant Email is to help increase adoption and engagement across your organisation.
Customising the Uncompliant Email
Follow the steps below to customise the email in each required language.
- Navigate to Settings > Notifications > Email Templates.
- Choose your required language from the ‘Language’ drop-down menu.
- Next, select the required 'Uncompliant Email’ template you wish to update.
- Repeat these steps for all required languages
- Once complete, click Save.
- After updating the templates, you’re ready to trigger the email.
Sending the Uncompliant Email to users
You can trigger this email on a content-by-content basis by following the steps below.
- Within the relevant ‘In Progress’ table, locate the course, policy or survey for which you want to send the email.
- Click Options > View on the required content.
- Go to the 'Email' tab and ensure Send in User’s Preferred Language is selected.
- If this option has been enabled, return to the ‘In Progress’ table.
- For the course, policy or survey that you are going to trigger the email for, select Options > Send Uncompliant Email.
- You will receive a confirmation message. If you are happy to proceed, click Confirm.
⚠️ Important Notes

- The Uncompliant Email will only be sent to users who have received all reminder emails but have not yet completed the assigned content.
- Emails will be sent in each user’s preferred language, if available.
- If a user has not set a preferred language, or if the selected language is not available for the template, the email will be sent in English.
