Creating a Fusion course

Administrators can create their own Fusion course with various elements of interactivity, eLearning videos, policies and quizzes. This can include both MetaCompliance training materials as well as your own policies, PDFs or videos.

  • To create, navigate to Learning > Fusion Template Creation > Create.

  • Here, you can create your new Fusion template or review any templates currently in 'Draft', 'Published', 'Create' or 'System' state via this page, as required.

Create a Fusion Template

  • To create a new Fusion template, select Create your own.

  • Populate your Fusion Template details and then proceed to Add Learning Elements. A modal will appear containing all available course element options.

Learning Elements Library

All MetaCompliance learning material and uploaded custom content is contained within the Elements Library.

  • Browse through the library to locate the material required for your course, and click Add+ to add this to your course.
  • Use the 'Sort and Filter' panel to refine your search criteria.

  • To view the flowbuilder and preview your Fusion template, select Done on the Learning Elements Library page.

  • When viewing your template, sections and elements can be moved via drag and drop.

Languages

Many of the MetaCompliance elements are available in multiple languages.

  • To add additional languages to your course, insert these within the 'Template Details' panel.

  • The Elements Library will dynamically update and display all material available in your selected languages. The 'Items' label will display the number of available elements depending on what you have selected.

  • Use the 'Preview Language' drop-down to view the elements in another language.

Available Learning Elements

  1. Intros: Short introductory videos that can be used to introduce the course.
  2. Nanos: 100s of training videos created by the MetaCompliance Creative team, covering a large range of important training topics in up to 44 languages.
  3. Interactions: These include interactive segments/quizzes that can be embedded into your template to help keep the user engaged while completing the course.
    • Please note that there are limitations when playing interactions on mobiles and Teams.
  4. Custom: Use this option to add your own videos. These will then play alongside any of the MetaCompliance elements that you select.
  5. Policy: Upload your key company policies to support the messaging within the course. Users must read and attest to the policy before they can complete the course.
  6. Communication: Upload any relevant PDF documents as a 'Communication' element and embed these within the Fusion template for users to review.
  7. Encouragement: To help keep your users engaged throughout the course, upload any relevant PDF documents as an 'Encouragement' element or select one that has already been prepopulated.
  8. Outro: Short conclusion videos that can be used to conclude the course.
  9. Quiz: Test your users' understanding of the course material by asking your own questions or select from the Question Bank.

Fusion Template Actions

You have the option to 'Preview', 'Save as Draft' or 'Finish' the Fusion template at any time using the options at the top right of the flowbuilder.

  • Preview: Selecting this option will enable you to view the template in Course format as an end user.
    • This will help you to confirm if all the selected elements are relevant and in the correct order.
    • While still in its 'Draft' state, you can quickly return to your template to make any required changes.
  • Save as Draft: Use this option to save your progress while you are in the creation phase of the template.
  • Finish: Once you have added all the required elements, you can proceed to finish the creation process.
    • Before you publish your template as a course, confirm if you would like to add a Pre-Test to your course. This is a further optional element that can be added and presented to your targeted users. If a user passes the pre-test, then they are not required to complete the course.
