Phish URL Redirect after Learning Experience / Red Flag Learning Experience
Phishing simulations are most effective when they don't end at the Learning Experience. With URL Redirect, Metacompliance becomes a seamless trigger point within your wider security awareness ecosystem. The moment a learner acknowledges the Learning Experience / Red Flag Learning Experience, they can be automatically directed to wherever your programme needs them to go next.
For organisations using an external LMS, this means phishing simulations can feed directly into your existing learning infrastructure without any manual follow-up or separate communications. For others, the destination is entirely up to you - a targeted training course, a password reset portal, a compliance acknowledgement workflow, an explainer video, or an internal security policy page.
Whatever your post-awareness action looks like, URL Redirect gives you the control to make it happen consistently, automatically, and at scale.
How it works
- The redirect is designed to fire at the end of the learner journey, once the Learning Experience / Red Flag Learning Experience has been displayed and acknowledged, ensuring awareness messaging is always delivered before any redirect occurs.
- When the learner acknowledges the Learning Experience / Red Flag Learning Experience, the configured URL opens automatically in a new window.
- If a learner exits a simulation before reaching the Learning Experience / Red Flag Learning Experience, the simulation ends as normal and no redirect occurs.
How to Configure it
Setup is straightforward and takes just a few seconds:
- Within the Simulation settings for your phish you will see a new Redirect URL section
- Toggle on Enable redirect
A URL field will appear, enter the URL of your learning platform or where you would like your users to be redirected to
- Continue with your setup and save phish as normal
