A Register is a storage area made up of records and is really seen as the core of MetaIncident. Each record includes information (Fields) about a particular incident record.
One way to describe a register is that it is like a 'toolbox'. It contains lots of prepopulated fields related to the incident management process that you can choose to include in your Incident Assessment or choose not to. The existing register fields can be customised, or new fields can be added if required - see the following article for more information - Incident Field Management - How Do I Add, Delete and Hide Fields?
MetaIncident has two separate registers. The registers are called:
1. Incident - available within the Reported Incidents tile.
2. Attachments - available when attaching information to an incident assessment.
