Yes, you can add your own Video or PDF content to a Fusion course. First, this must be uploaded via the Content Creation area within Learning. Once uploaded, your content will appear within the relevant drop-down within Fusion Course Creation.
Navigate to Learning>Content Creation>Create. The options on the page will update dependent on the Media type you wish to upload.
MP4 Content
- Choose MP4 from the Media Type option - MP4 files can be located within the My Elements drop-down within Fusion.
- Assign a Name to the content.
- Enter the number of Participation Points users should receive after successfully completing this content.
- Insert the Duration of the MP4.
- Upload your MP4 File.
- For MP4 media, upload a Transcript file if required.
- Select a Category.
- Enter a Description for the Media.
- You can upload media in multiple languages which can then be added to the Fusion course for user selection. Select the required language from the Language drop-down.
- Enter any relevant Keywords linked to this Media.
- If available, upload your subtitles file within the Upload Closed Captions area.
- Upload a new Image, or use the pre-set MetaCompliance image.
PDF Content
- Choose PDF from the Media Type option.
- Select the PDF Type from the drop-down; depending on the option you select, the content will be available within the corresponding drop-down within Fusion Course Creation.
- Assign a Name to the content.
- Enter the number of Participation Points users should receive after successfully completing this content.
- Enter any relevant Keywords linked to this PDF.
- Upload your PDF Document.
- Select a Category.
- Enter a Description for the PDF.
- You can upload PDF documents in multiple languages which can then be added to the Fusion course for user selection. Select the required language from the Language drop-down.
- Upload a new Image, or use the pre-set MetaCompliance image.
Once you have follow either of the above options, click Upload to add the Content to Fusion.
