Set Up a Staggered Schedule for Phish

Schedule your phishing simulation to run over a defined time frame. This creates a staggered delivery schedule, making the campaign more realistic and less predictable.

  • Within the Phish Creation area, you can set up a staggered delivery schedule in the Timing section.
  • Enable the Schedule Delivery setting:

You can then configure the following:

  • Start Date and End Date
  • Delivery Schedule
  • Delivery Hours

Schedule Delivery Options Explained

  • Start Date and End Date: Defines when the phishing simulation begins and ends. No emails will be sent after the end date.
  • Delivery Schedule: Choose the days the campaign will run and define the delivery window (e.g. Tuesday–Thursday).
  • Delivery Hours: Set the time window for email delivery (e.g. 10:00–16:00). Emails will be sent at randomised times within this window.
  • Randomised Delivery: The system divides users into batches and assigns delivery times at random intervals (e.g. 100 users at 11:23, 100 at 12:16, etc.).
  • End Time is Inclusive: If the end time is set to 17:00, emails may be sent anytime between 17:00 and 17:59.

Depending on the selected schedule options, the system calculates the number of users relative to the total number of delivery hours and evenly distributes emails across those hours.

⚠️ Note: The Schedule option randomises which users receive the phishing email at each interval.
