Installation steps 

• Populate the Gmail Phish Reporter Add-on Customer Template and send it to the MetaCompliance Support team. This must be validated and added to the relevant configuration by MetaCompliance.
• The MetaCompliance Support team will then confirm when the add-on is available to download.  
  • ⚠️Only move to Step 3 after receiving confirmation from Support to continue.
• Log in to your Google Workspace Administrator account.
• Navigate to the following URL: MetaCompliance Phish Reporter.  The add-on will open within the Google Workspace Marketplace. 

• Select Domain Install to proceed with installing the add-on for all users within your organisation.
• Click Continue on the 'Permissions' pop-out window to proceed.

• Select Allow on the 'Domain Wide Installation Consent' screen to continue with installation.

• The Phish Reporter should now be installed and available to all users.

Optional: Installing for specific users or organisational units only

If you would prefer to roll out the Phish Reporter to a subset of users (for example, a pilot group) rather than your whole organisation, install the add-on from the Google Admin console instead of the Marketplace page.

• Log in to the Google Admin console (admin.google.com) with your Google Workspace Administrator account.
• Navigate to Apps > Google Workspace Marketplace apps > Apps list.
• Click Install app, search for MetaCompliance Phish Reporter, and select it.
• Click Admin install, then Continue.
• When prompted to choose who the add-on is installed for, select Certain groups or organisational units.
• Select the relevant organisational unit(s) or group(s), then click Continue.
  • Google Workspace does not allow the add-on to be assigned to individual users directly. To install for specific users, add them to a Google Group and select that group.
• Click Continue on the 'Permissions' pop-out window, then select Allow on the consent screen to complete installation.
• The Phish Reporter will now be available only to users in the selected groups or organisational units.

⚠️ If the add-on has already been installed domain-wide, you can restrict it afterwards. In Apps > Google Workspace Marketplace apps > Apps list, select MetaCompliance Phish Reporter, set access to OFF for your top-level organisation, and set it to ON for the required groups or organisational units.

Note: Changes can take up to 24 hours to take effect. Users may need to refresh Gmail before the add-on appears.
