Updating a Fusion Template on a Published Course - Things to Consider
- When you change the template and select Update Course, the course version will automatically increment by a minor version, e.g. from 1.1 to 1.2.
Impact on User Progress
- If a user has partially completed the previous version of the course, their progress will be reset once the update is applied. They will be required to restart the course from the beginning.
- For users who completed the earlier version, the version they finished will continue to appear in reports. However, their element-by-element breakdown will no longer be available in the Fusion Course Analysis Report.
Risk Score Impact
- If the course contributes to risk scoring based on quiz attempts, users who completed an earlier version will lose the risk score associated with their quiz attempts on that previous version.
