Engaging Stakeholders in your Security Awareness Programme

For optimal effectiveness of your programme, it's crucial that key stakeholders within your organisation grasp the advantages, objectives and framework of your Security Awareness Training initiative.

As a recommended approach, we advise dispatching an email to pertinent stakeholders, including C-level executives. This email should precede the distribution of your initial organisation-wide baseline phishing test, ensuring that stakeholders are well-informed and prepared to address any inquiries that may arise during the baseline assessment.

Below, you'll find a sample email template that can serve as a guide for crafting your own message.

Dear [Team]

Recognising the paramount importance of bolstering our organisation's security, I'm thrilled to share that we've joined forces with MetaCompliance to help us achieve maximum continuous engagement with personalised cyber security training for employees. Their platform encompasses tailored Security Awareness Training and simulated phishing attacks, empowering us to drive real behaviour change with Security Awareness Training that gets every employee to care.

Our first step is a baseline simulated phishing email to gauge our employees' susceptibility to phishing attacks. Subsequently, I'll coordinate a meeting where we can discuss the results of this and the optimal method for reporting on the progress of this programme.

Moving forward, employees will be assigned bite-sized Security Awareness Training, tailored to their role and focused on a different topic every month, commencing with the 10-minute General Security Course. The training modules are interactive and can be completed at a pace that suits each individual.

Our ultimate objective is to improve cyber security and compliance behaviours whilst decreasing the risk to the organisation of a cyber security incident.
I'm enthusiastic about the implementation of our new security awareness programme in reaching our business goals and open to any queries you may have.
