Using 2FA or MFA to Sign In to MyCompliance
Multi-factor authentication (MFA), or Two-Factor authentication (2FA) are electronic authentication methods in which a user is granted access to a website or application only after successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence to an authentication mechanism.
While the MyCompliance platform does not provide its own multi-factor authentication method, it can leverage 3rd-party tools.
MFA is available to be used if a customer is using SCIM provisioning and Single Sign-On. Customers can utilise the native MFA capabilities of their Identity and User Management Platforms, for example Azure Active Directory or Okta.
For any email-based user accounts in MyCompliance, Multi-factor Authentication will not be available.
